2021 Korean Society of Victoria Activity (10)
1. On 29th January, Korean society of Victoria had a meeting with Steve Dimopoulos Mp, State Member for Oakleigh on zoom. On 9th March, we invited him to our community hall and had dinner without committee members. We shared our thoughts about better service for our Korean community and multicultural group including community hall upgrades.
2. We had a round table discussion over zoom last Thursday 11th March with Alex Hawke, Minister for Immigration, Citizenship, Migrant Services and Multicultural Affairs. Sohwon Kim, represented the Korean society group and joined the conference especially about our activities during COVID-19.

From 2021, our membership fee has been changed to $40 per individual and $80 per family. However, life-long membership remains as $1000. In addition, from March 2021, a membership card will be issued in order for the numerous membership benefits to be accessed easily. The membership benefits include exclusive offers for community hall hiring, discounts at many Korean restaurants and other benefits. More information will be announced later in March so please keep an eye out.
We promise that your membership fee will contribute to the development of the Korean community and towards a multicultural society. Thank you for your continued support in the Korean community.
